The YS series is Korea Ever-Power aluminium-frame small-power induction motor, designed as a direct metric replacement for fractional-horsepower motors in light machinery where the full cast-iron Y2 frame series is physically oversized or overweight. The 2-pole variant runs at approximately 2800 rpm synchronous speed at 50 Hz, producing the highest shaft speed in the YS range from the smallest possible motor body.
